Birthday countdown

When Ber-months come in, countdown to Christmas also begin
And well, as my closest friends know,
I also start a countdown with my twin.

When we were younger, we would sit up the side car of our tricycle
And sing, “Happy birthday to me,” wholeheartedly πŸ™‚
Aaah I miss those days ❀

Yes, we were kids then
And our neighbor would always ask us to go down, worried thatΒ we might fall.
But we never did till we finish our birthday song. Haha

Sitting side by side, we smile, raise our arms, and sing as loud as we can.
Happy birthday to me! πŸ™‚

Silver concert ideas

Hmmm. Pano kaya?

Oh well, sana bago kami mag-25 e maging mas open kami sa emotions and experiences namin para maayos namim ang line up of songs namin. Maganda kung maging honest talaga kami sa isa’t isa. At higit sa lahat, sana maging centered kay Christ ang concert namin. πŸ™‚

Ayun lang naman. A night (or day) of songs and stories. Sama na natin ang pictures at jokes? Haha tapos favorite food namin ang handa, ganyan.

Oooh. Pwedeng simulan namin sa istorya ng “Happy birthday to me” sa bubong ng tricycle HAHAHA pwede! :)))

Yung next songs, di ko pa alam. Siguro isang rap song, tapos Tuliro ganyan, or love team (basta mga songs na nagagamit namin nun para ipang-asar sa classmates namin hehe)

Glory of love (piano + rock)
Canon (piano + rock)

Mahal na mahal kita + yes Lord. Mga unang kanta na natutunan namin bilang youth πŸ™‚ yey! Sana nga makanta namin ito. Please Lord. Yehey! πŸ™‚

Instruments.
Ukulele. Gitara. Piano. Wow! πŸ™‚ meron kaming kanya-kanyang solo tapos meron ding duet hehehe. Merong tugtog siya, kanta ako, and vice versa HAHAHA push!
Oooh we may invite our friends to sing and play, too! HAHA pwede!

Pao, Kyle, Yvette, Sabel, Eliz,
Cha, Nats, Dianne, Jay

Elaine, Ate Dianne, Lads, Leoj, Rik
Bok’s college friends

Basta, 25 songs lang. πŸ™‚
*I found this on my drafts just now oooh. Matuloy kaya ang concert naming dalawa? Haha

Writing what I think, Thinking what I write

“Writing is a way of finding out. By objectifying his thoughts in the medium of language, he gets a chance to see what is going on in his mind.”

Indeed, writing helps me clear my thoughts. Whenever I need to speak in front, it helps that I write what I’m going to talk about – may it be a birthday wish, an announcement, a short talk, or a sermon. Β I am a lady of many words because I want to share ALL my ideas and so seeing my thoughts objectified through words makes me figure out what I really wanted to say and omit extraneous words.

Reading this article, I remembered when I was asked by a friend to send a greeting for the birthday of our common friend. We communicated thru txt and so my words were limited. It took me more than thirty minutes composing my message mainly because I’m not that close to the celebrant and because, as I said, the number of words were limited.

Choosing the right words is a tedious but fulfilling task. I picked the best words, combined phrases, and deleted words. It also led me to go straight to the point, with no sugarcoat, but with utmost sincerity. That was one of my shortest but most meaningful birthday greeting of all time haha! This reaffirms what I said earlier, writing helps me clear my thoughts. And that clear thinking helps me make my writing clear. πŸ™‚
